COSAR consists of approximately 40 professional volunteer members skilled in Search & Rescue operations in urban and wilderness settings. COSAR's mission is to provide the following services: To provide Search & Rescue service for the Provincial Emergency Program (PEP), and the RCMP. Boats were used tosearch using underwater cameras and sidescanning equipment. Nothing was located but teamsare expected to resume searching in approximatelya week from 2010-07-23.
